Os sons do mundo como fonte de criação musical do 1.º CEB

Abstract

O presente relatório foi elaborado no âmbito da unidade curricular de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, integrada no Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico na Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo. O tema "Os sons do mundo como fonte de criação musical no 1.º CEB", procurou explorar os sons do ambiente como ponto de partida para a criação musical e o desenvolvimento da sensibilidade auditiva dos alunos. O trabalho foi desenvolvido numa turma do 2.º ano do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e focou-se no domínio da Música no âmbito da Educação Artística. Este trabalho tem como objetivos: identificar as estratégias utilizadas para explorar o domínio da Música na sala de aula do 1.º CEB, explorar a criação musical através dos sons do mundo, implementar atividades que incentivem a criação musical entre alunos do 2.º ano do 1.º CEB e desenvolver a acuidade auditiva dessas crianças. A metodologia adotada foi qualitativa, com aproximação à investigação-ação. Para recolher dados foram utilizadas várias técnicas, incluindo observação direta do participante, entrevistas semiestruturadas e registos fotográficos e gravação de áudio. Os resultados demonstraram que trabalhar os sons do mundo como elementos pedagógicos é vantajoso na promoção da criatividade e da educação artística: música, nas crianças. A utilização de dinâmicas tendo por base as estratégias de Schafer, permitiu uma maior interação dos alunos com o ambiente sonoro, estimulando a capacidade de escuta e perceção crítica. Concluiu-se que integrar a música e os sons do ambiente nas práticas pedagógicas não só enriquece o processo de aprendizagem, mas também potencia o desenvolvimento global das crianças, proporcionando experiências significativas e criativas no contexto escolar.

Abstract This report was drawn up as part of the Supervised Teaching Practice curricular unit, part of the Master's Degree in Pre-School Education and Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education at the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo. The theme “The sounds of the world as a source of musical creation in the 1st CEB” sought to explore the sounds of the environment as a starting point for musical creation and the development of students' auditory sensitivity. The work was carried out in a class in the 2nd year of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education and focused on the field of Music within the scope of Artistic Education. The aims of this work are: to identify the strategies used to explore the field of music in the primary school classroom, to explore musical creation through the sounds of the world, to implement activities that encourage musical creation among students in the second year of primary school and to develop these children's auditory acuity. The methodology adopted was qualitative, with an action-research approach. Several techniques were used to collect data, including direct observation, interviews and photographic and audiovisual recordings. The results showed that working with the sounds of the world as pedagogical elements is beneficial in promoting children's creativity and musical expression. The use of dynamics based on Schafer's strategies allowed the students to interact more with the sound environment, stimulating their capacity for listening and critical perception. It was concluded that integrating music and environmental sounds into teaching practices not only enriches the learning process, but also enhances children's overall development, providing meaningful and creative experiences in the school context.
